Large, bright and airy rooms are the biggest draw at Villa Langka (so long as you stick to the higher room categories) – one of the better mid-range boutique hotels in Phnom Penh.
There are 48 rooms in total, divided across two sections – an Old Wing featuring traditionally furnished rooms and a New Wing, with a more contemporary feel. The swimming pool is another string to the hotels’ bow – simple in design it may be, but it is very enticing, encompassed within it’s lush garden. It is here you will also find an open-air restaurant serving wonderful fresh produce from Phnom Penh’s daily markets.
A good location, overlooking Wat Langka Pagoda (hence the name), places it just around the corner from the Independence Monument, close to many popular bars and restaurants. Add to this attentive and friendly service and a relaxed, informal ambience and Villa Langka, all told, becomes an excellent choice with plenty going for it.
